Master’s Programme in Linguistics, Department of Languages and Literature, Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held a ‘3 in 1 Program Using Task-based Language Learning (TBLT) Approach In Teaching Japanese As A Foreign Language on Friday (12/11/2021) at 9 a.m.

Teaching method using Task-based Language Learning (TBLT) approach. The material begins with defining “task” and how to make “Task” meaningful in the learning process. The speaker also invited participants to evaluate the learning process so far and find out what made the class or learning process less enjoyable. From here, the presenters convey what can make a learning process interesting. Furthermore, the presenters compare learning using a Grammar-based and Task-based approach. In addition, the speaker also touched on what can be expected from learning and mastering a second language through learning with a task-based method approach. The material session was then followed by a discussion session and a question and answer session with the activity participants.
